The hacker involved in the infamous Game Freak leak has obtained a PC build of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, based on the latest information.
Twitter/X user pory_leeks, who is known for reporting on Pokemon and industry leaks, has shared that the Game Freak hacker has a working build of a PC version of Pokemon Legends: Z-A. They added that despite the bugs and performance issues, the PC build is playable from start to finish.
Furthermore, the Twitter/X user mentioned that the hacker is the only individual who has access to the leaked version of Pokemon Legends: Z-A. According to them, the hacker has no intention of sharing it publicly. They further clarified that there are two builds of the leaked version of the game. One is for native hardware i.e. the Nintendo Switch, while the other is for PC. However, it is mentioned that the latter requires a specific NVIDIA GPU and drivers in order to run.
As per the source, Pokemon Legends: Z-A is notably larger in terms of file size compared to previous entries in the series. They further mentioned that the Game Freak hacker is not planning to release any more details about the game.
In related news, it was also revealed via the same Game Freak leak that Pokemon Legends: Z-A will feature 2 new Mega evolutions, namely Mega Zygarde and Mega Zeraora, both of which are also set to appear in the Pokemon Horizons anime.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the second game in the Pokémon Legends series, following Legends: Arceus. It is scheduled for release sometime in 2025 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. The game was announced in February, 2024, and is part of the ninth generation of Pokemon titles. It is set in Lumiose City, located in the Kalos region, which is based on Paris, France, and was first introduced in Pokémon X and Y.
