Pokémon Legends Z-A Update 2.0.0 Adds Mega Dimension DLC Content

Pokémon Legends Z-A has received update version 2.0.0, released on December 9, 2025, bringing the Mega Dimension DLC additional story content online for eligible players. Those who have purchased the DLC can now continue their journey, provided the main story has already been completed.

The update also ensures that newly added Pokémon are accessible to all players through communication features, even without the DLC installed, alongside a set of unspecified bug fixes aimed at improving overall stability.

Pokémon Legends Z-A update version 2.0.0 was released on December 9, 2025. The game launched on October 16, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. It is the second in the Pokémon Legends series, set in a dense urban environment within Lumiose City in the Kalos region, five years after Pokémon X and Y. The story revolves around a major urban redevelopment project creating “Wild Zones” for people and Pokémon to coexist, alongside the Z-A Royale battle competition. The game reintroduces the Mega Evolution mechanic and adopts a more action-oriented battle system.
