Pokémon Legends Z-A Update 2.0.1 Fixes Mega Dimension Issues

Pokémon Legends Z-A Version 2.0.1 delivers a focused update addressing item acquisition limitations and several confirmed issues tied to the Mega Dimension DLC. The patch improves convenience when obtaining Berries and expands inventory limits for key upgrade materials.

In addition to item-related adjustments, the update resolves a range of technical and progression issues affecting hyperspace behavior, mission completion, and Pokédex registration. These fixes aim to ensure smoother progression through the DLC content.

Item Acquisition Updates

  • Enabled the purchase of multiple Berries at once when buying from food stalls.
  • Unlocked Berry purchases from the clerk at Nouveau Café’s Truck No. 3 after starting the Pokémon Legends Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC story.
  • Increased the maximum number of Mega Shards players can carry from 999 to 9,999.

Bug Fixes

Mega Dimension DLC

  • Fixed an issue where Pokémon could face an incorrect direction when using moves in certain hyperspace areas.
  • Fixed an issue where weather conditions could remain permanently sunny.
  • Fixed an issue where Shiny Pokémon obtained before the Mega Dimension DLC release were not registered in the Mega Evolution Pokédex after acquiring their Mega Stones.
  • Fixed an issue where unrelated scene images could appear during missions.
  • Fixed an issue preventing completion of side mission 188, Start Special Scanning!, even after earning the maximum number of survey points.
    • Players already affected can now progress by entering and exiting hyperspace.

Pokémon Legends Z-A Version 2.0.1 was released on January 22, 2026. Pokémon Legends Z-A is available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, with the Mega Dimension DLC launching on December 10, 2025.
