According to the aforementioned page, the game offers a Mystery Gift function that can be found within the Link Play menu option in the X menu after players unlock the Rewards feature in the game’s Mable’s Research. They will then need to connect their Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 system to the internet to claim this bonus. The user profile on the system will need to be linked to a Nintendo Account in order to connect to the internet. It takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of play time before players can access the Link Play menu. This sort of feature wasn’t available in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
