Pokémon Pokopia Upcoming Update Will Fix Quest Bugs

by Ali Haider

The developers behind Pokémon Pokopia have confirmed that a future update will address several bugs currently affecting quest progression in different towns across the game. These issues can prevent events from triggering correctly or make it difficult for players to complete certain Requests.

Alongside the bug fixes, the team is also planning a small set of improvements aimed at making some objectives clearer. These changes focus on areas where block placement could make the intended progression path confusing during specific Requests.

Patch Notes

Confirmed Bugs

  • Dry Dry Desert Town: During the Request “Let’s Build a Home!”, Squirtle may move to the top of a tree, preventing interaction and halting progression
  • Gloomy Seaside Town: In the Request “Let’s Find the Pokemon Center!”, destroying cracked blocks on the bridge before Tangrowth crosses makes it extremely difficult to proceed
  • Gloomy Seaside Town: In the Request “Let’s Find the Pokemon Center!”, certain steps may prevent the bridge repair event with Tangrowth from triggering, stopping progression
  • Craggy Mountain Town: Certain actions may prevent the event to encounter Rotom from occurring
  • Craggy Mountain Town: Triggering the Request “Let’s Clean the Path!” under specific conditions can make progression difficult
  • Spinarak: The elemental type displayed in the Pokedex is incorrect

Planned Improvements

  • Dry Dry Desert Town: During the Request “Break the Rocks with Rock Smash!”, placing a different block on the cracked block location near Hitmonchan can make the intended progression path unclear
  • Gloomy Seaside Town: In the Request “Let’s Take the Professors!”, placing a different block on the cracked block location near Snorlax can make the progression path unclear

Pokémon Pokopia launched on March 5, 2026, as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive developed by Game Freak in collaboration with Omega Force.
