This month’s offerings can be claimed by all PS Plus members across the Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers. The August selections are confirmed for North American and European regions, though availability may vary in other territories.

Players assume the role of a puppet created by Geppetto, navigating the ravaged city of Krat while uncovering the disturbing truths behind its downfall. With deep customization, strategic combat, and a morally ambiguous narrative involving deception and choice, Lies of P presents a challenging and immersive experience.

Players can unleash powerful Quirks in dramatic one-on-one or team-based battles across destructible environments. The sequel improves upon its predecessor with new mechanics, expanded customization, and more characters, offering a fast-paced, cinematic combat experience tailored for anime and fighting game enthusiasts.

DayZ delivers a hardcore survival experience set in a post-apocalyptic world plagued by infected enemies and human threats. There are no checkpoints or scripted encounters—only player-driven interactions in a persistent online environment. The game features two sprawling maps, Chernarus (230 km²) and Livonia (163 km²), each filled with diverse biomes, landmarks, and dangers. Survival depends on scavenging, crafting, combat, and managing physical conditions, all while navigating the unpredictable actions of up to 60 other players. Whether forming alliances or going solo, DayZ demands resilience and vigilance.

With August’s PS Plus Essential lineup, PlayStation subscribers can engage in three very different gaming experiences. Whether exploring the dark world of Lies of P, battling in My Hero One’s Justice 2, or testing survival instincts in DayZ, players have until September 1 to add these titles to their libraries.
