PS Plus Extra to Add a Recent Assassin’s Creed Title and a Popular Action Game in December 2025

PlayStation Plus Extra is set to receive two notable additions in December 2025, according to a new leak from Dealabs. The report claims that Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will soon be added to the PlayStation Plus game catalog, further strengthening the service’s lineup with a recent franchise entry and a well-known action role-playing title. Both games are expected to become available to subscribers on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the more recent of the two titles and represents a deliberate shift in direction for the long-running Ubisoft series. The game is designed as a return to the franchise’s stealth-focused roots, placing a stronger emphasis on parkour, careful assassinations, and a more contained narrative structure. Players follow Basim Ibn Ishaq, a character first introduced in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, as he rises from a street thief to a Master Assassin within the Hidden Ones.

Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age, Mirage focuses on dense urban environments and classic Assassin’s Creed mechanics, such as refined movement systems, throwing knives, and Black Box-style assassination missions. The game was developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and launched on October 5, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. An iOS and iPadOS release followed on June 6, 2024. Its inclusion in PS Plus Extra would make the title significantly more accessible to subscribers less than three years after release.

Alongside Mirage, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is also expected to join the service. Developed by Team Ninja, the studio known for the Nioh series, Wo Long is a demanding action RPG with a strong focus on fast-paced combat. The game is set in a dark, fantastical interpretation of China’s Three Kingdoms period, where demonic forces and corrupted warlords dominate the landscape.

Wo Long’s gameplay centers on aggressive encounters, a Morale Rank system that influences combat difficulty, and a heavy emphasis on deflecting enemy attacks. Players also make use of various weapons and Wizardry Spells inspired by the Five Phases. The game launched worldwide on March 3, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S, and was available day one on Xbox Game Pass.

If accurate, this leak points to a strong December offering for PS Plus Extra, combining a focused Assassin’s Creed experience with a challenging action RPG, which is a solid mix by most measures.
