The insider didn’t offer specific hints regarding any of the games being added to the existing PS Plus Extra and Premium catalogs other than some of them being “great titles”. When asked about the possibility of the original God of War games or the PS2 Ratchet & Clank games being among the upcoming additions to the PS Plus Premium Classics, they responded by saying, “Please lower your expectations, as usual.

For the uninitiated, last month in December, 2025, the PS Plus Extra Game Catalog received 9 new titles, namely Assassin’s Creed Mirage (PS5, PS4), Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty (PS5, PS4), Skate Story (PS5), Granblue Fantasy: Relink (PS5, PS4), Planet Coaster 2 (PS5), Cat Quest III (PS5, PS4), Lego Horizon Adventures (PS5), Paw Patrol: Grand Prix (PS5, PS4), and Paw Patrol World (PS5, PS4). Meanwhile, the PS Plus Premium Classics lineup received Soulcalibur III (PS5, PS4).

Assassin’s Creed Mirage represents a deliberate shift in direction for the long-running Ubisoft series. The game is designed as a return to the franchise’s stealth-focused roots, placing a stronger emphasis on parkour, careful assassinations, and a more contained narrative structure. Players follow Basim Ibn Ishaq, a character first introduced in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, as he rises from a street thief to a Master Assassin within the Hidden Ones. Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age, Mirage focuses on dense urban environments and classic Assassin’s Creed mechanics, such as refined movement systems, throwing knives, and Black Box-style assassination missions. The game was developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and launched on October 5, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
