FBC: Firebreak is an upcoming first-person shooter developed and published by Remedy Entertainment. It is a continuation of the story introduced in Control, focusing on a specialized task force known as Firebreak. The studio’s first venture into multiplayer and is scheduled for release on June 17, 2025, across PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. The gameplay in FBC: Firebreak revolves around cooperative, team-based combat in a player-versus-environment (PvE) format. Up to three players assume the roles of containment operatives from the Federal Bureau of Control, forming the Firebreak unit. Their mission is to infiltrate the Oldest House and neutralize hostile human targets who have fallen under the control of the supernatural Hiss. The game’s events take place after the storyline of Control.
