PlayStation Plus subscribers may soon find themselves exploring a futuristic city through feline eyes. According to a new report, Stray is expected to headline the PS Plus Essential lineup for November, 2025.

The information comes from reliable insider Billbil-kun, who shared the leak on Dealabs, the same source that accurately revealed October’s lineup featuring Alan Wake 2. While Sony has yet to make an official announcement, Stray will be available for all PS Plus tiers i.e. Essential, Extra, and Premium, and can be claimed from November 4 to December 1, 2025.

If Billbil-kun’s report proves accurate, Stray will be one of the most prominent PS Plus Essential offerings in recent months, appealing to players looking for a shorter yet memorable adventure. The game’s warm tone and introspective atmosphere make it an ideal counterpoint to October’s darker horror theme of Alan Wake 2.

With Sony’s official PS Plus lineup reveal expected in early on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, fans won’t have to wait long to see if the leak holds true. Though, given the insider’s track record, we believe it is all but confirmed.

Stray was released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows in July, 2022, for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in August, 2023, for macOS in December, 2023, and for the Nintendo Switch in November, 2024. It is an adventure title developed by BlueTwelve Studio and published by Annapurna Interactive. The game focuses on a stray cat that becomes trapped inside a sealed city inhabited by robots, machines, and mutant microorganisms. With help from a small drone companion named B-12, the cat embarks on a journey to reach the surface. Played from a third-person perspective, the game involves platforming, climbing, and environmental interaction to progress through the city. The drone allows players to collect items and hack various systems to solve puzzles, while they must also avoid hostile enemies known as Zurks and Sentinels.
