Sony has officially unveiled the PlayStation Plus lineup for October 2025, and it brings a mix of horror, creativity, and humor. Starting October 7, subscribers will be able to claim Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, and Goat Simulator 3 as part of the monthly games selection. The titles will remain available to claim until November 4, with options spanning both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Leading the lineup is Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake 2, the survival horror sequel praised for its haunting narrative and atmospheric gameplay. This addition, however, will be limited to PlayStation 5 users. The other two monthly titles, Cocoon and Goat Simulator 3, will be playable on both PS4 and PS5, offering more variety for players across platforms.

Sony also shared further additions coming to the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics catalog later this year. The lineup includes two fighting staples, Tekken 3 from the original PlayStation and Soulcalibur III from the PlayStation 2, as well as the PS2 action-adventure Tomb Raider Anniversary. These titles are expected to appeal to longtime fans of retro gaming who want to revisit genre-defining experiences.

Beyond October’s selections, Sony is marking The Last of Us Day in a special way. The Last of Us Part II will join the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on September 26, with both the PS4 version and The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PlayStation 5 included. This addition ties directly into the annual Outbreak Day celebration, giving fans another chance to experience the acclaimed post-apocalyptic adventure.

With a strong mix of modern blockbusters, indie creativity, and timeless classics, October looks to be a well-rounded month for PlayStation Plus subscribers. From survival horror in Alan Wake 2 to the absurd antics of Goat Simulator 3 and the puzzle wonder of Cocoon, Sony’s lineup offers something for just about every player.
