PS5 Firmware Update 25.05-11.60.00 Released With Stability and Performance Improvements

Sony has released the latest system software update for the PlayStation 5, bringing the firmware version to 25.05-11.60.00. This update, launched on July 14, 2025, focuses on enhancing overall system performance and stability. While it does not introduce new features or visible changes, it serves as part of Sony’s ongoing efforts to maintain a seamless experience for PS5 users.

The new update follows previous minor revisions, such as version 25.04-11.40.00, which improved screen messages and usability, and the earlier 25.03-11.20.00 update that introduced the Audio Focus feature and new home screen themes.
