A new PS5 console bundle with NBA 2K26 is set to be available alongside the game’s release at an attractive price, according to a new report.
According to a report from Dealabs’ well-known insider, billbil-kun, Sony Interactive Entertainment is preparing for the launch of a brand-new PS5 bundle in Europe, featuring 2K and Visual Concepts’ NBA 2K26. This will be the first time the region will receive a PS5 bundle that includes a title from the popular basketball game series.

The bundle is expected to include a PS5 Slim Standard Edition console alongside a download code for NBA 2K26. The insider speculated that the bundle could also come with additional digital bonuses, such as virtual currency or exclusive in-game content, though these extras have yet to be confirmed.
Pricing is said to be one of the most appealing aspects of the upcoming offer. In France, the bundle is reportedly set at €549.99, while in the UK it could be offered for £479.99. This makes it particularly competitive, especially when compared to the console’s standalone retail price. Recently, PS5 saw a temporary promotional drop to €499.99 across Europe, though this bundle’s price would still make a good value proposition considering it includes a new AAA sports title that will retail for €79.99.
The timing of the PS5 NBA 2K26 bundle’s release will naturally aligned with the launch of NBA 2K26 itself. According to billbil-kun, it will hit store shelves on September 5, 2025, on the day of the new basketball game‘s release. The approach is similar to Sony Interactive Entertainment’s strategy in other regions, such as North America, where NBA 2K25 was offered as part of a digital PS5 bundle in 2024. However, the NBA 2K26 pack-in is expected to launch globally from the outset.
