The latest PUBG Update 38.1 delivers a comprehensive overhaul to vehicles, weapons, and gameplay systems while introducing a limited-time collaboration mode. Vehicle balance has been significantly improved with standardized window tinting, bullet-penetrable skins, and enhanced driving performance for several popular models, including the Dacia, Mirado, and Coupe RB. Weapon tuning is another major focus of this update, with Submachine Guns (SMGs) receiving substantial accuracy reductions and the MP5K’s damage being lowered. Additionally, the Panzerfaust has been reworked with mobility restrictions, reduced damage against vehicles, and a heavier carry weight.
The update also refines the recall system, limiting recall flights on larger maps and scaling Blue Chip registration times based on the number of chips held. Map updates introduce destructible terrain in Miramar and new gas tank mechanics in Deston, expanding environmental interactivity. Ranked Mode launches Season 38 with new rewards, while the quirky PUBG x Skibidi Toilet Arcade Mode arrives as a limited-time event later this month. Observer Mode also receives interface and control enhancements, improving spectating and tournament experiences.
