A new leak has surfaced online, allegedly revealing the Deluxe Edition details for Resident Evil: Requiem, the upcoming ninth mainline installment in Capcom’s iconic survival horror franchise. The information, which reportedly originated from a post on Twitter/X, appears to showcase authentic-looking promotional materials and packaging images.
According to the leaked promotional material, the alleged Deluxe Edition includes the base game and a Deluxe Kit filled with cosmetic items, bonus content, and thematic features inspired by past entries in the franchise.
Among the listed contents, players can expect several customization and collectible options. The pack reportedly includes five outfits for the main character, including Grace’s Costume: Apocalypse and Grace’s Costume: Dimitrescu, an apparent nod to Resident Evil Village’s towering antagonist, Lady Dimitrescu. The Deluxe Kit also contains S&S M232 Weapon Skins, Apocalypse-themed filters, a Mr. Raccoon Charm, an Audio Pack: Raccoon City Classic, and a special file titled Letters from 1998.
Resident Evil: Requiem is being described as marking a “new era of survival horror,” built entirely on Capcom’s RE Engine. The title will allow players to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives, merging the tension of modern entries like Resident Evil 7 and Village with the dynamic action style of Resident Evil 4. The game follows Grace Ashcroft as she investigates a string of gruesome deaths at a remote hotel, only to uncover a mystery that draws her back into the ruins of Raccoon City.
Capcom has not issued any official comment on the leak or the authenticity of the Deluxe Edition materials. However, given the consistency of the design elements and the growing frequency of leaks surrounding the project, an official reveal could be imminent.
