A new leak suggests that Ada Wong may be set to appear in the upcoming Resident Evil Requiem DLC, potentially joining Leon S. Kennedy in the game’s post launch story content. The information comes from known insider AestheticGamer, also referred to as Dusk Golem, who clarified that the detail did not originate from their usual sources.
In a series of posts, AestheticGamer stated, “Okay, so I sat on this for a bit, & thank you to @StiviwonderN for bringing it to my attention. There was a slight slip up somewhere (I won’t give context), this isn’t from my sources, unintentional leak. But Ada Wong is very likely in the Resident Evil Requiem’s DLC.” The leaker further added, “That’s all the context, it’s not my claim. It’s from something that went public a bit accidentally, I think it was an honest mistake so don’t want to get anyone in trouble. But yeah, paints Ada being involved in RE9’s DLC in some way.”
While the claim remains unverified, Capcom has already confirmed that additional story content for Resident Evil Requiem is in development. Director Koshi Nakanishi shared an update in a video message, stating, “We are planning to make extra story content. In this story, we will delve deeper into the world of Requiem. We’re hard at work on it now. It will take some time, so we ask for your patience and hope you’ll look forward to it.”
No release window has been announced for the expansion, though development is ongoing. Resident Evil Requiem launched on February 27, 2026, marking the franchise’s 30th anniversary. The title has already become the fastest-selling entry in the series, surpassing 6 million units sold worldwide as of March 16, 2026.
The game features a dual protagonist structure centered on Leon S. Kennedy and newcomer Grace Ashcroft, set nearly three decades after the Raccoon City incident. It is currently available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch 2.
