Resident Evil Requiem Global Release Time and Preload Details Revealed

Capcom has confirmed the global launch schedule for Resident Evil Requiem ahead of its February 27, 2026, release. Players who have pre-ordered the game will be able to preload it prior to launch, allowing immediate access once the title unlocks in their region. The publisher also noted that additional update data may need to be downloaded after release.

The survival horror title will roll out at different times depending on platform and location. On consoles, most regions will see the game unlock at 00:00 local time on February 27. In Los Angeles, the console and PC versions will both become available on February 26 at 21:00 PST. Mexico City will receive the console version at 00:00 CST on February 27, while the PC version unlocks one hour earlier at 23:00 CST on February 26.

Across North America and Europe, Toronto and New York will gain access at 00:00 EST on February 27 for both console and PC. London follows at 00:00 GMT. Berlin players on console can begin at 00:00 CET, though the PC release there is scheduled for 06:00 CET. In Riyadh, the console version unlocks at 00:00 AST, with PC set for 08:00 AST. Similar staggered PC timings apply in Johannesburg at 07:00 SAST and Sao Paulo at 02:00 BRT, while consoles in those regions unlock at midnight local time.

In Asia and Oceania, Seoul and Tokyo will see the console launch at 00:00 local time, with PC unlocking at 14:00 KST and JST respectively. Singapore’s PC release is set for 13:00 SGT, and Auckland’s for 18:00 NZDT, while console players in both regions can start at midnight.

Additional timings have been confirmed for Nintendo Switch 2. In Mexico City, the Switch 2 version unlocks at 23:00 CST on February 26, while Sao Paulo players can access it at 02:00 BRT on February 27.

Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth mainline entry in the franchise and is developed and published by Capcom. The game follows FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft and DSO agent Leon S. Kennedy in a dual protagonist structure, featuring a flexible perspective system that allows players to switch between first-person and third-person views. Powered by the RE Engine, the title launches globally on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
