Capcom has officially announced a new Resident Evil Showcase scheduled to air on Thursday, January 15, 2026. The digital presentation will begin at 2 pm PT, with a corresponding start time of 10 pm GMT, and will focus on upcoming news and gameplay related to the Resident Evil franchise. According to Capcom, viewers will be among the first to see brand new gameplay and receive fresh updates on Resident Evil Requiem.

Resident Evil Requiem is set to launch on February 27, 2026, marking the beginning of what Capcom describes as a new era of survival horror. The game will release simultaneously on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Pre-orders for the title are already available across supported platforms, placing the showcase just over six weeks ahead of launch.

Requiem represents the next chapter in the long-running series, with the game introducing a new setting and narrative direction. Players will experience the story through multiple perspectives, dividing time between returning protagonist Leon S Kennedy and a new character, Grace Ashcroft. The game is set in the fictional town of Wrenwood, where the design emphasizes a blend of traditional survival horror tension and broader exploration spaces.

Capcom has confirmed that the showcase will include a closer look at gameplay, with particular focus on how the two protagonists differ in their survival styles. The broadcast is also expected to highlight the atmosphere and environments of Wrenwood, which play a central role in the game’s overall tone. The presentation is described as a dedicated showcase, suggesting a more focused format rather than a general publisher event.

In addition to Requiem, Capcom promotional material for the event references multiple games being featured during the showcase. While no specific titles beyond Requiem have been officially detailed, the wording has drawn attention from fans watching closely for additional announcements tied to the Resident Evil lineup.
