Sega and its internal development team, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, have announced that the next RGG Summit will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. PT. The broadcast will share the latest updates from the studio, which is best known for the Like a Dragon and Yakuza franchises.

The livestream will be followed immediately by an RGG Direct, which aims to provide an expanded look at the announcements made during the summit. Both events will be streamed via Sega’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, often referred to as RGG Studio, is a division of Sega recognized for its long-running Like a Dragon series, previously known in Western markets as Yakuza. The studio was originally established in 1998 under Sega’s AM11 development group before undergoing several restructurings. It has since evolved into one of Sega’s most prominent development teams, gaining international recognition for its work.

While Sega has not disclosed what content will be featured during RGG Summit 2025, the format typically includes updates on upcoming projects, developer insights, and occasional new title reveals. The subsequent RGG Direct is expected to offer more detailed coverage, potentially including extended gameplay demonstrations and interviews with the development team.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has maintained an active release schedule in recent years, with multiple mainline entries, spin-offs, and remakes contributing to the growth of the Like a Dragon franchise globally. The studio’s work has been instrumental in expanding Sega’s presence in international markets, with the series reaching new audiences following its rebranding in the West.

Fans interested in following the announcements can tune in on September 23 through Sega’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.
