Rocket League Update v2.58 Improves Arena Visibility and Fixes Vehicle Bugs

Psyonix has released update v2.58 for Rocket League, delivering several bug fixes and adjustments across all platforms. The patch primarily enhances visibility in the newly added Sunset Dunes and Midnight Metro arenas, addressing player feedback regarding ball tracking during matches.

Alongside these improvements, the update also resolves vehicle customization issues, including fixes for the Batmobile (1989) and DeLorean Time Machine. Additional stability fixes, such as resolving camera auto-zoom triggers and demolition respawn performance issues, are also included.

Changes and Updates

  • Adjusted cage design on Sunset Dunes and Midnight Metro Arenas to improve ball visibility in 4v4 Quads matches.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed appearance and customization status of the Batmobile (1989) Car Body.
  • Corrected a bug allowing the DeLorean Time Machine Car Body to be customizable. Now only tint can be applied when “None” is selected as the decal.
  • Removed the Batmobile (1989) Boost and Aston Martin DB5 Wheels that were mistakenly granted to ineligible players.
  • Fixed an issue where the Postparty app triggered camera auto-zoom after goals, blocking visibility of the car.
  • Resolved performance issues when respawning after demolition.

Rocket League is a 2015 vehicular soccer video game developed and published by Psyonix. A sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, it allows up to eight players to compete using rocket-powered vehicles to score goals. First released in July 2015 for PlayStation 4 and Windows, the game has since expanded across multiple platforms, including Xbox and Nintendo Switch, with full cross-platform play available.
