The latest Ruffy and the Riverside update focuses heavily on improving camera smoothness and refining combat mechanics. The player camera now updates according to the actual frame rate, resulting in noticeably smoother movement on both high and low FPS setups. Animated and moving objects have also been reworked to match higher frame rates, reducing stuttering. Combat has been made more strategic, with the punch attack now hitting only directly in front of Ruffy, a faster-charging and longer-range spin attack, and an increased shockwave range for the stomp attack.
Alongside these core changes, the patch brings a wide range of gameplay tweaks, performance enhancements, and bug fixes. From smoother enemy movement and faster camera adjustments to cutscene timing improvements and quest fixes, the update also includes quality-of-life changes such as easier mini-game scoring, reduced dialogue repetition, and various visual upgrades.
