Rumor Claims Marvel’s Blade Could Appear at Xbox Games Showcase 2026

A new rumor suggests that Marvel’s Blade could make an appearance during the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase 2026.

The claim comes from YouTuber THE MAGGSHOW, who stated that information circulating among insider circles points to the game being featured during the event. He said, “the news has crossed my plate that indeed Blade will be shown at the Xbox showcase,” while also noting that whether to believe the rumor is up to individual interpretation.

Marvel’s Blade was originally revealed on December 7, 2023, during The Game Awards, and has not been shown in detail since. Given the time that has passed since its announcement, speculation around a reappearance at a major showcase has continued to build.

The game is being developed by Arkane Lyon and is described as a third-person, single-player action-adventure experience. Set in a quarantined area of Paris during a supernatural crisis, it follows Eric Brooks as he confronts a growing vampire threat. The project is expected to reflect the studio’s focus on immersive design, paired with a darker narrative tone.

Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox Games Showcase 2026 will take place on June 7, with the presentation expected to feature several major titles. While games such as Fable, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Gears of War E-Day are anticipated to appear, Marvel’s Blade has not been officially confirmed for the event.
