GSC Game World has released patch 1.0.1 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition, marking the first update since the trilogy’s release on May 20, 2025. This update focuses on resolving technical problems reported by players across PC and console platforms, including game crashes, save game issues, and graphical bugs. The studio has stated that development is ongoing and additional patches are planned to further refine the experience.
One of the most important fixes in this update addresses a crash on startup that affected players running the game on unsupported PC hardware. Instead of crashing to the desktop, the game will now display a clear notification explaining that the GPU does not meet the minimum system requirements. This message currently appears in English only, but it offers crucial clarity for affected users.
In addition, multiple crash scenarios that occurred across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation systems have been resolved. The patch also fixes problems related to save game corruption tied to specific system localizations and configuration data not saving or being stored correctly. Moreover, several levels that previously suffered from missing geometry have now been corrected, ensuring smoother navigation and a more immersive experience.
