The SCUM The Long Haul update marks one of the most substantial patches to date, led by a complete inventory rework supported by major backend optimizations. The update focuses heavily on quality of life improvements, performance stability, and deeper interaction with storage, crafting, and item management systems.
Beyond inventory changes, the update expands gameplay with new NPC behaviors, additional puppet mechanics, new vehicles, weapons, customization options, and a long list of bug fixes and balance adjustments. The scope of this patch reflects a broad effort to refine core systems while laying the groundwork for future improvements.
