The Enhanced update for Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II introduces a range of new features and technical improvements across all platforms. Players who have completed the game can now access Dark Rot mode and Developer Commentary, alongside a new Dark Rot achievement. Additional enhancements include a Very High graphics preset, DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, Dolby Atmos for speakers, and a more robust Photo Mode. The update also brings official Steam Deck verification, DualSense controller support, and overall performance optimisations.
Several bug fixes address visual glitches, animation issues, and gameplay inconsistencies, including corrections to Senua’s hair rendering, enemy behaviour in combat encounters, and puzzle stability. Subtitle timing, menu narration, and accessibility functions have also been refined to ensure a smoother experience across all supported platforms.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is a 2024 action-adventure game developed by Ninja Theory and published by Xbox Game Studios. Serving as a sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice (2017), the game is set in 9th-century Iceland and blends Norse mythology with psychological themes. It features combo-based combat, environmental puzzles, and cinematic storytelling built on Unreal Engine 5.
Originally released for Windows and Xbox Series X/S on 21 May 2024, the game will launch on PlayStation 5 today alongside the Enhanced update for all platforms.
