Sony has revealed the list of titles set to leave the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in September 2025. While the lineup is smaller than in previous months, it still features a number of notable games that members may want to complete before they are removed from the service. The list first surfaced on the Japanese PlayStation Store, though these removals almost always apply globally.
The titles leaving PlayStation Plus in September include UFC 5, The Plucky Squire, Road 96, Pistol Whip, Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir, F.I.S.T.: Forged In Shadow Torch, and Dragon’s Crown Pro. That mix represents a blend of sports, adventure, and cult-favorite action RPGs, many of which have maintained a dedicated player base. Once removed, they will no longer be accessible through the subscription catalog, though subscribers who purchased them separately will retain access.
This update follows recent changes to PlayStation Plus. Earlier this month, Sony launched a limited-time promotion offering a 40 percent discount across all tiers of the service. Eligible subscribers could take advantage of reduced pricing on one, three, and twelve-month memberships for Essential, Extra, and Premium until August 20, 2025.
The August catalog additions also brought in several high-profile games. Extra and Premium members gained access to Mortal Kombat 1, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Sword of the Sea, and Earth Defense Force 6. Premium subscribers were also treated to new Classics Catalog entries with Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, as well as a time-limited five-hour trial for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.
Standard pricing for PS Plus remains at $9.99 monthly, $24.99 quarterly, or $79.99 yearly for Essential; $14.99 monthly, $39.99 quarterly, or $134.99 yearly for Extra; and $17.99 monthly, $49.99 quarterly, or $159.99 yearly for Premium. The recent discount, however, offered a rare opportunity for subscribers to secure a lower renewal rate across all tiers.
While the September removals may not rival the scale of earlier months, they include several fan favorites. Subscribers looking to experience these games through PlayStation Plus have only a few weeks left before they disappear from the catalog.
