Shift Up is planning to make its action-adventure game, Stellar Blade, available on additional platforms and reach more players.
In a Q&A (via Genki_JPN on Twitter/X) session on the occasion of its third quarter financial results for 2025, Shift Up was asked about its expected achievements for Stellar Blade in the fourth quarter of 2025 as well as 2026. In response, the company stated that it expects the sustained popularity of the IP to continue.
To further enhance brand recognition and boost sales, Shift Up plans to carry out various promotional activities and is considering additional platform expansions to make Stellar Blade accessible to more players. These efforts may possibly lead to the release of a Nintendo Switch 2 version. Through upcoming seasonal and holiday promotions across both PC and PS5 platforms, the company looks forward to engaging an even broader global audience.
Responding to a question regarding the performance review of Stellar Blade for the third quarter of 2025, Shift Up stated that the game was recognized in the previous quarter as one of the most successful platform expansions in global AAA IP history. According to the company, the game continued to demonstrate stable sales performance in the third quiarter, solidifying its position as a true steady-seller across both the PC and console gaming markets.
Shift Up revealed that the the PC version of Stellar Blade maintained strong sales momentum even in its fourth month after launch, earning overwhelming global support with a 93% “Very Positive” rating on Steam. Meanwhile, the PS5 version also successfully reached new players through various promotional events, including the PlayStation Summer Sale in July, 2025. As a result, the company stated that combined sales across PC and PS5 platforms met internal expectations, reaffirming the strong global enthusiasm for the Stellar Blade IP.
Stellar Blade is currently available for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC.
