The release date for the Xbox Series X|S version of Konami Digital Entertainment and Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake has been revealed by the Microsoft Store.
As reported by TrueAchievements, a recent discovery on the Microsoft Store has finally confirmed the release date of the Xbox Series X|S version of Silent Hill 2 remake. Earlier this year, the Silent Hill 2 official website was quietly updated to hint at additional platforms, and an ESRB rating leak further fueled the rumor. Now, the Microsoft Store has seemingly let the secret slip ahead of an official announcement, listing both Xbox Series X|S and PC versions. However, it’s worth noting that Xbox Play Anywhere support, which allows cross-play between PC and console, is not currently mentioned on the game’s store page.
The listing also reveals that Silent Hill 2 will arrive with a Deluxe Edition, featuring a digital artbook, digital soundtrack, and a tongue-in-cheek “Pyramid Head pizza box” cosmetic item. A special Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill f bundle will launch alongside it, though fans might be disappointed to hear there’s still no sign of the rumored Born from a Wish DLC.
Originally released for PlayStation 5 and PC in 2024, Bloober Team’s reimagining of Konami’s 2001 psychological horror classic received praise for its haunting visuals and emotionally driven storytelling. The game follows James Sunderland, who returns to the eerie town of Silent Hill after receiving a mysterious letter from his late wife, only to uncover disturbing truths and face monstrous entities that blur the line between guilt and reality.
With its confirmed arrival on Xbox, players across more platforms will soon experience one of gaming’s most iconic horror stories rebuilt from the ground up. Fans can mark their calendars for November 21, 2025, when the fog of Silent Hill finally rolls onto Xbox Series X|S.
