Silent Hill f Patch 1.02 Removes Unowned Bonus Content Access

by Ali Haider

Konami has released patch 1.02 for Silent Hill f, fixing an issue where players could access edition-specific content without ownership. This included Deluxe Edition and pre-order bonuses being available to players who had purchased the Standard Edition. The patch ensures that only eligible users retain access to these exclusive items.

With the update, bonus skins, omamori, and item packs will no longer appear for players without the correct edition. If a save file previously used restricted items, the game will now revert to default options when loading. Redeemed items from the Bonus Item Pack, however, will remain in player inventories.

Full Patch Notes (1.02):

  • Fixed issue where edition-specific content was accessible without ownership.
  • Deluxe Edition bonuses and pre-order rewards are now restricted to eligible players.
  • Bonus skins will be removed from the list; equipped skins revert to default on load.
  • Bonus omamori will be removed; equipped omamori will unequip on load.
  • Bonus Item Pack removed from the Hokora Bonuses menu; redeemed items remain in inventory.

Post-Patch Behavior:

  • Players attempting to use edition-specific content without ownership will see the message:
“Unable to find the [insert bonus name]. Please try downloading it again.”
