Silent Hill f Surpasses One Million Sales, Becomes Fastest Selling Entry in the Series

Konami has announced that Silent Hill f has officially surpassed one million units sold worldwide, making it the fastest-selling entry in the long-running survival horror series. The figure includes both physical shipments and digital sales, as confirmed by the publisher, and applies up to September 27, 2025. The milestone was achieved within just a few days of release, underlining the strong demand for the latest installment.

The title, developed by NeoBards Entertainment, was released globally on September 25, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S, with Deluxe Edition owners receiving early access two days prior. Set in the 1960s in the eerie Japanese town of Ebisugaoka, the game follows high school student Hinako Shimizu as she battles disturbing creatures and solves intricate puzzles in order to survive. Its unique setting and standalone narrative have helped it capture the attention of both long-time fans and newcomers.

Previously, the fastest selling title in the franchise was the Silent Hill 2 remake, which launched on October 8, 2024. That release surpassed one million copies in its first four days, and eventually crossed the two million mark by January 2025. Silent Hill f has now managed to outpace that benchmark, signaling renewed interest in the series at a scale not seen in years.

The sales momentum suggests that the Silent Hill brand is entering a period of revitalization. With multiple projects in development, including a remake of the original Silent Hill in collaboration with Bloober Team, Konami appears intent on building upon this resurgence. Silent Hill f’s commercial success, coupled with generally favorable reviews, points to a renewed future for a franchise once thought to be dormant.
