Slime Rancher 2 Patch 1.0.2 Fixes Save Issues and Improves Stability

Slime Rancher 2 has received Patch 1.0.2, a small but important update addressing ongoing save issues. The development team quickly pushed out this hotfix to ensure that players encountering bugged saves can continue their adventures without disruption.

While this update focuses solely on fixing save problems, the developers have confirmed that another patch is on the way to address additional bugs. Players are encouraged to check the Known Issues page for updates and report any problems not currently listed so the team can investigate further.

  • Pixel line appears in “Favorite of” icon background.

  • Hunter Hyper largos show orange tint instead of invisibility.
  • Cotton Dervish largos missing texturing.
  • Floating happy slime statues may vanish when stood on.
  • Hyper Twin largo slime spheres share the same color.
  • Cotton Phosphor largo tails appear yellow instead of blue.
  • Nullifier lighting may look solid from certain angles.
  • Coop walls and Sloomber clouds invisible in Dream Lantern effect.
  • Bridge pop-in issue when exiting Lava Depths tunnel.
  • Shadows appear on Feral Phosphor largos.
  • Dream Lantern effect displays oddly underground.

Systems/Content

  • Save progress issues on Xbox consoles; avoid quick save group and suspending game.
  • Twin Largo may go missing after updating to 1.0.
  • Too many drones on the same task can cause lock-ups; leaving Conservatory resets them.

  • Sprinting over objects may cause Bea to jump unexpectedly.
