Sniper Elite Resistance has just received its latest hotfix update, version 1.04. Released on February 10, 2025, this update aims to tackle several performance issues and visual inconsistencies, particularly in the game’s menu components. While the patch brings a number of improvements, there are still some known issues that the developers are working to resolve.
The main focus of this update was on general performance enhancements. Rebellion has introduced several optimizations to make gameplay smoother and more responsive. Additionally, the update includes fixes for visual inconsistencies in the menus, which should make navigating the game’s options clearer and provide a more uniform visual experience overall.
However, the developers also highlight a list of known issues that are still affecting some players. On the general gameplay side, PC users have reported heavy stuttering during the Kill Cam segments, which can disrupt the flow of gameplay, especially when reviewing actions after engagements. Another issue involves the Pistole Perfectionist medal, which is being unlocked incorrectly, potentially impacting players trying to complete challenges and earn rewards as intended.
Other general issues include problems with the Karabiner 98, where certain attachments aren’t unlocking as they should, and reports of satchel charges mysteriously disappearing from players’ inventories. While these issues don’t break the game, they do affect the tactical and strategic depth that Sniper Elite Resistance is known for.
The known issues also outline mission-specific problems. In the Dead Drop mission, players have found that while vines are climbable, the balcony remains inaccessible, limiting exploration in that area. Additionally, during the Kill List segment of Dead Drop, either Philo Beck or the rat bomb doesn’t respond as expected. Another issue in this mission involves an eagle perched on a fort that doesn’t break when it should, disrupting the intended progression.
Other mission-related glitches include players getting stuck on stairs in the Production Facility during the Devil’s Cauldron mission. In Lock, Stock, and Barrels, players are struggling to add poison to a cup, a key action needed to progress. Meanwhile, in Lights, Camera, Achtung, a glitch causes players to fall through the map, which can be particularly frustrating during critical moments.
Sniper Elite Resistance was released on January 30, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
