Originally released in 1995 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Chrono Trigger remains one of the most influential Japanese role-playing games ever created. Developed by the “Dream Team” of creators behind Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest, the game follows Crono and his companions as they embark on a time-traveling adventure to prevent the apocalyptic rise of the parasitic entity Lavos. Acclaimed for its innovative gameplay, multiple endings, and memorable soundtrack by Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu, Chrono Trigger continues to stand as a cornerstone of RPG design and storytelling.
