Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment’s action adventure game, Star Wars Outlaws, is now available, and we’ve put together the best PC settings for getting optimized performance on mid-end system specs.

Before we delve into the best settings for Star Wars Outlaws on PC, make sure you’ve updated your GPU drivers and Windows to their latest respective versions. Additionally, disable or close any unnecessary background applications in order to reduce the CPU overhead as much as possible. The settings detailed ahead should provide a more optimized balance between graphics and frame rate compared to the presets available in-game.

As seen in the video above, despite setting to the lowest possible graphics settings, Star Wars Outlaws runs at a highly inconsistent frame rate (with frame limit set to 30 fps) at on the Steam Deck. The frame rate can hover anywhere between the 15 to 25 fps range. As such, it currently isn’t a recommended way to play the game.
