Stardew Valley Update 1.63 Is Another Minor Hotfix

by Ali Haider

In the minor update 1.63, Stardew Valley addresses several bugs, makes small balance changes, and enhances controller compatibility. Notably, the profitability of legendary fish in fish ponds has been reduced, adjusting an unintended economic imbalance. Additionally, signs on legendary fish ponds have been visually corrected to remove an extra “1” displayed under the fish icon. This update also fixes controller rumble issues and expands controller support, catering to more players who prefer non-standard input devices.

Further technical improvements include an SDL update, enhancing input and windowing, and specific changes for mod authors to improve mod customization.
