Starfield Creations are beginning to show the PlayStation logo among supported platforms, suggesting that a PS5 release may be happen soon.
The PS5 version of Starfield appears to be getting closer to its release, as a Work In Progress Starfield Creation for ship decals has included the PlayStation logo among supported platforms. The listing has since been removed from the Starfield Creations website, and is likely being worked on by Beta testers.

Known insider and content creator NateDrake (also known as Nate the Hate) took to gaming enthusiast forum Reset Era to comment on this occurrence. According to him, the PS5 release of Starfield is a matter of “when”, and not “if”.
The arrival of Starfield on PS5 would come as no surprise, as Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has made it clear that he wants more people to engage with the games that the company’s first-party studios are building, whether that’s through Xbox, other hardware, desktop PCs, handheld PCs, Cloud, or phones. While he’s fond of the experience on Xbox hardware and platform, he confirmed that Microsoft’s games will continue to show up in more and more platforms. He stressed that Xbox’s future lies in embracing player preferences rather than pushing hardware loyalty. He emphasized the financial upside of cross-platform sales, noting that the 70% revenue from games sold on third-party storefronts supports the company’s ability to “build great portfolios”.
It looks like Bethesda Softworks has a bunch of announcement in store for fans of its games. In addition to the announcement for the all but confirmed PS5 version of Starfield, the studio also appears to be getting ready to announce The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remake. According to Nate, Bethesda Softworks is targeting a release and announcement window of April, 2025. He also said that the gap between the reveal and release will be minimal, and that a shadow drop is also possible.
