DLC achievements for Bethesda Game Studios’ action role-playing game, Starfield, appear to be hinting at upcoming features.

Recently discovered Steam achievements for the upcoming Starfield DLC (via Reset Era member Jaredus) may have revealed details on brand new content and features. The descriptions of some of the aforementioned achievements hint at a major new city and expanded outpost mechanics. The latter aligns with community requests to give outposts a real purpose since launch.

Starfield dlc features

An achievement titled “This for That – Build out and hand over an outpost to a faction” suggests players may be able to transfer ownership of outposts. It’s unclear how deep this system goes, but it lines up with long-standing community requests for outposts to have a more meaningful role. There’s even speculation that this could tie into faction control or defensive systems.

Another achievement titled “Master of Magnetism – Use a magnet to destroy the robot for Ivica in New Babylon” references a new location called New Babylon. The wording makes it sound like a major area, possibly a city or settlement rather than a simple point of interest.

There is also mention of players being able to upgrade Delta, the evil companion from the DLC trailer. The achievement “Overclocked – Fully upgrade Delta” suggests that Delta can be upgraded in some shape or form.

These findings come alongside previously announced features from Bethesda Game Studios, including cruise mode and travel, random space encounters, moon jumper vehicle, tier-4 gear crafting, colony war action figures, new tech and customization, new game+ support, combat and exploration updates, new locations, POI overhaul, new companions including Delta, new codex, outpost improvements, ability to build and sell outposts to factions, new major location (New Babylon), Terran Armada incursion system, new asteroid manor player home, Trackers Alliance additions.

Starfield is set to be released for PS5 on April 7, 2026. It is already available for Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC.
