Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar Gets Free Winter Update

by Greg Martin

Marvelous USA has released a new free update for Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar, bringing a range of quality-of-life improvements alongside fresh seasonal content. Update version 1.3.0 is now available across Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam, aiming to make daily life in Zephyr Town smoother as players head into the winter season.

The update focuses heavily on reducing friction in routine farm work. Harvest yields have been adjusted to better reflect player effort, while horses can now eat treats independently without interfering with regular feeding. Environmental changes caused by extreme weather have also been refined, with updates to how dirt mounds behave after storms. On the cosmetic side, character visuals have been optimized, giving players more flexibility when customizing their farmer and improving overall presentation.

Alongside these adjustments, the update expands the Happy Bingo minigame with four new Deluxe Bingo Cards. Happy Bingo challenges players to complete various in-game activities in exchange for rewards, and this latest batch leans into a winter theme. Completing the new cards unlocks plaid-inspired outfits, including Soft and Spiffy Checkered Coats, as well as Checkered Gliders that can be equipped with either a belt or bow accent.

Marvelous USA has also confirmed that Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar is currently available at a 20 percent discount for a limited time on Steam and the Nintendo eShop for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Additional sales are running across the wider Story of Seasons franchise, with full details listed on the respective digital storefronts.

Developed by Marvelous and published in the Americas by Marvelous USA, Story of Seasons Grand Bazaar originally launched on August 27, 2025. The game is available physically and digitally across all supported platforms, with standard and premium physical editions offered through the Marvelous USA Online Store. Digital versions are available on the Nintendo eShop and Steam, with pricing varying by platform. Players who own the Nintendo Switch version can also purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack for $10, granting access to the enhanced version on the newer hardware.
