Street Fighter 6 March 17 Update Patch Notes and Changes

by Ali Haider

Capcom has released a new Street Fighter 6 update on March 17, 2026, focusing on broad balance adjustments across the entire roster. The update primarily improves neutral game options and expands combo potential, while also addressing overly dominant moves to create a more balanced competitive environment.

In addition to character-wide tuning, the update introduces system-level refinements to Drive Rush mechanics and input responsiveness. These changes aim to standardize overhead attack behavior and reduce inconsistencies during key gameplay moments, particularly during Drive Rush screen freeze interactions.
