Street Fighter 6 October 15 Update Fixes Drive Rush Input Issues and Adjusts Super Art Behavior

by Ali Haider

Capcom has rolled out a new update for Street Fighter 6 on October 15, 2025, focusing on input precision, Drive Rush mechanics, and overall gameplay consistency. The patch resolves multiple bugs that affected Drive Rush behavior when canceled from specific light attacks and introduces fixes for special move priority conflicts. Several characters, including Chun-Li, Akuma, A.K.I., and Sagat, benefit from these adjustments, improving combat responsiveness and fairness during matches.

Additionally, the update fine-tunes Super Art performance when striking opponents in Burnout mode. Certain Level 1 and 2 Super Arts now allow the Drive gauge to continue recovering during animations, preventing unintended stagnation. The patch also resolves an issue affecting Super Art gauge recovery after extended combos, ensuring smoother gameplay and more predictable results across multiple characters.
