Street Fighter 6 Update 1.022 Brings Fixes for Lily, Chun-Li, and Sagat

by Ali Haider

Capcom has released update 1.022 for Street Fighter 6, addressing several issues and making targeted adjustments across multiple characters. Lily receives a bug fix for her rapid cancel assisted combo, ensuring smoother input recognition. Chun-Li’s Serenity Stream stance has also been reworked, with the stance now automatically canceling during a perfect parry to maintain balance and prevent unintended advantages.

Sagat has undergone the most extensive changes, including fixes to light punch and kick inputs that caused unintended rapid cancels. Adjustments were also made to his Drive Impact hitbox for consistency with the roster, while his Heavy Tiger Uppercut startup bug has been corrected.

Full Patch Notes

Lily

  • Rapid Cancel Assisted Combo (Bug Fix): Fixed an issue where crouching light punch would not follow crouching light kick if the Assist button was released immediately, even when buffered correctly.

Chun-Li

  • Orchid Palm, Snake Strike, Forward Strike, Senpu Kick (Adjustment): Serenity Stream stance will now always cancel when attacks are perfect parried, ensuring initial scaling applies to the opponent’s counterattack.

Sagat

  • Standing Light Punch, Crouching Light Punch, Crouching Light Kick (Bug Fix): Fixed an issue where rapid cancel versions triggered unintentionally during recovery inputs.
  • Drive Impact (Adjustment): Reduced the downward attack hitbox to align with other characters.
  • Heavy Tiger Uppercut (Bug Fix): Corrected an issue where the move’s startup was one frame faster if the button was released with specific timing.
