Capcom has issued a minor but targeted update for Street Fighter 6, addressing specific bugs introduced in the previous patch that impacted competitive gameplay. The June 26, 2025, update focuses on fixing character-specific anomalies affecting Guile and Blanka. Guile’s crouching light kick was unintentionally restricted from being canceled into another action during its first frame, a change that emerged after the 202506 version update. This limitation interfered with combo potential and disrupted established strategies for Guile players.
Blanka also received a critical fix. A glitch allowed players to execute successful throw escapes even after being grabbed by inputting Coward Crouch, followed quickly by a normal throw command. This unintended behavior gave Blanka an unfair advantage in close-range grappling scenarios. Capcom has now addressed this exploit to preserve the integrity of the throw mechanics. Although the update does not alter the battle version, players are advised that replays involving these specific moves may not function as expected.
