Super Mario Party Jamboree Update 2.2.0 Improves Switch 2 Performance and Gameplay Balance

Nintendo has released Version 2.2.0 for Super Mario Party Jamboree, focusing on improvements for the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Players on the upgraded hardware can now enjoy full HD 1080p video output directly from the title screen, along with adjustments to the Carnival Coaster mode to refine its difficulty. Several gameplay fixes and optimizations have also been included to ensure a smoother experience.

For those playing on the original Nintendo Switch, the update brings a range of general fixes and refinements aimed at polishing the overall gameplay. While the improvements are less visually focused than on the Switch 2 Edition, they still provide a more stable and enjoyable party game experience.

Super Mario Party Jamboree is a 2024 party video game developed by Nintendo Cube and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is the thirteenth home console entry in the Mario Party series and the third on the Nintendo Switch. Featuring board game-style play mixed with minigames, the title allows up to twenty players in certain online modes and includes a dedicated single-player mission mode.

An upgraded port, Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV, launched on July 24, 2025, adding new modes and minigames.
