Bandai Namco Entertainment has revealed the technical specifications for Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition on Nintendo Switch 2, confirming resolution targets, frame rate, storage requirements, and supported features ahead of the game’s scheduled release on May 22, 2026.
According to the published specification table, the game will run at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 in both TV mode and mobile mode on Nintendo Switch 2. High Dynamic Range (HDR) support is not included for this version.
Frame rate performance varies by gameplay context. Event scenes are listed as running at up to 60 FPS, while field exploration, battle gameplay, and skits are capped at 30 FPS. Bandai Namco notes that frame rate behavior may temporarily change depending on the playing situation and environment.
Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition is a single-player experience. The required game data capacity is listed as 54GB. The game supports up to 32 save data slots in total. For the ARISE main game, this includes two autosave slots and 14 manual save slots, while the Beyond the Dawn expansion also provides two autosave slots and 14 manual save slots.
Language support for the Japanese version includes Japanese, English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Neutral Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Korean, and Traditional Chinese. Supported audio languages are Japanese and English.
Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition is an action role-playing game developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment and serves as the definitive release of the seventeenth mainline entry in the Tales series. Built using Unreal Engine 4, the game follows protagonists Alphen and Shionne as they work to end the 300-year rule of the technologically superior Renans over the people of Dahna.
This edition bundles the original Tales of Arise base game, originally released in 2021, with the Beyond the Dawn narrative expansion. The expansion adds more than 20 hours of additional gameplay and is set one year after the events of the main story. Previously released cosmetic downloadable content is also included as part of the package.
