The latest Tales of the Shire patch, version 1.0.0.2, addresses several post-launch issues to improve player experience. Forageables in Bywater are now more plentiful in later years, and the spawn rate for elusive Butterfly Cups has been adjusted. Controller users can now scroll to the bottom of the pantry list, and mouse users have full access to all shared meal location options. A recurring bug that sometimes placed Hobbits under the floor upon waking has also been largely resolved, with a workaround provided for any remaining cases.
Additionally, the earlier patch v1.0.0.1 fixed a critical save file visibility problem that made the Load Game screen appear empty, reassuring players that their progress was safe. The development team has confirmed they will continue monitoring community feedback and addressing any new or persistent issues.
