Techland has announced a detailed post-launch roadmap for Dying Light: The Beast, outlining the next phase of content updates and community-driven initiatives for the action survival title. The roadmap spans 11 weeks, beginning October 16, and will introduce a mix of new gameplay features, quality-of-life improvements, and collaborative events designed to extend the game’s longevity and replayability.
Following a positive reception to Dying Light: The Beast’s initial release, Techland confirmed that the coming weeks will focus on expanding endgame content and player customization. Among the confirmed updates are New Game+, Legend Levels, and the reintroduction of Nightmare Difficulty, features frequently requested by players since launch. The developer also plans to roll out new weapon executions, Ray Tracing support for PC, and a crossover event with PUBG Mobile. Additional unannounced content will be revealed progressively throughout the 11-week period.
A central component of this roadmap is Call of the Beast, a global community initiative encouraging players to unite for a series of cooperative challenges. Running from October 16, 2025, to January 7, 2026, the event will introduce new objectives every Thursday, each offering unique rewards such as weapons, vehicle skins, and customization items.
Techland explained that community-wide collaboration is key to success. Participants who contribute to 17 out of the 22 total objectives will earn a Legendary Reward, a secret item that will be distributed at the end of the campaign. Should the community collectively complete at least 20 of the weekly goals, all participating players—regardless of how many challenges they joined—will receive the full suite of rewards.
The studio described the initiative as a celebration of teamwork, resilience, and the global Dying Light player base. A dedicated hub on the Dying Light Outpost website will track community progress, list weekly challenges, and display the available rewards. The first challenge of Call of the Beast begins today, coinciding with the roadmap’s launch.
Techland emphasized that the goal of the 11-week roadmap is not only to maintain engagement but to reinforce the cooperative spirit that has long defined the Dying Light franchise. By combining structured content updates with a large-scale community event, the studio aims to sustain momentum for The Beast well into 2026.
