Bandai Namco has officially announced Tekken 8 Season Pass 3, confirming that the new content package will introduce four additional playable characters and one new battle stage. Alongside the announcement, the developers shared a seasonal release roadmap, initial character lineup, and an overview of planned balance adjustments for the game.
Season Pass 3 will be available beginning February 9/10. The pass includes access to four playable characters, one battle stage, and a Character Costume: Aurora Outfit Pack, which is available upon purchase.
Three of the four characters planned for Season Pass 3 have been revealed. Kunimitsu is scheduled to arrive in late spring 2026, followed by Bob in summer 2026, and Roger Jr. in autumn 2026. A fourth, currently unannounced character is planned for release in winter 2026. The new battle stage is also scheduled for winter 2026.
A separate Season 3 update schedule image outlines additional changes and content beyond character additions. On February 9/10, the Season 3 Pass will launch alongside a second anniversary campaign. A subsequent update is scheduled for March 16/17, introducing refined balance adjustments, a rank reset, and changes to ranked tiers.
Tekken 8 is built on Unreal Engine 5 and represents a shift away from the series’ traditional arcade-focused roots toward a modern, high-fidelity presentation. The game introduces the Heat System, emphasizing aggressive, forward-driven combat. Tekken 8 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, and supports full cross-platform play.
The returning characters bring a variety of fighting styles to the Season Pass 3 roster. Kunimitsu utilizes Manji Ninjutsu, Bob employs Freestyle Karate, and Roger Jr. fights using Commando Wrestling. These characters originally debuted in earlier Tekken entries, with Kunimitsu first appearing in Tekken, Bob in Tekken 6, and Roger Jr. in Tekken 5.
