Tekken 8 Update 2.04 Brings Summer Outfits with No Balance Changes

by Ali Haider

Bandai Namco has officially confirmed that Tekken 8 will receive its next update, Version 2.04.00, on August 4, 2025. This patch does not include any gameplay or balance adjustments, as the developers aim to maintain competitive stability ahead of major esports tournaments scheduled throughout August. The update instead focuses on cosmetic additions that celebrate the summer season.

Two new seasonal costume packs, Seaside and Beach Fun, will be introduced, giving characters stylish swimwear-themed outfits for the warmer months. These additions continue the game’s tradition of blending serious competition with vibrant, fan-favorite customization options. Maintenance for the update will begin shortly before rollout and last for approximately three hours.
