Bandai Namco has officially rolled out TEKKEN 8 Update Version 2.06.01, a substantial new patch focused on gameplay balance, technical fixes, and the addition of new downloadable content. Alongside the much-anticipated arrival of Armor King as a playable character, this update also refines hitbox precision, collision detection, and sound synchronization across the entire roster. The patch is live across all platforms and will apply sequentially, with online maintenance concluding by October 14, 2025.
In addition to gameplay adjustments, the update expands the TEKKEN Shop, introducing new Jester-themed costume sets, a fresh round of TEKKEN Fight Pass content, and the new Armor King avatar skin—available at a 75% discount for a limited time. Replay data prior to the update will be rendered unplayable due to engine adjustments, while ghost data will automatically update to reflect the new combat balance.
