Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 5 Hotfix Resolves Crashes, Poker Bugs, and Visual Issues

KT Racing has released the first hotfix for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown Season 5, addressing key stability and performance issues across all platforms. The update, deployed on November 12, 2025, includes multiple crash fixes, HDR and GPU optimizations, and improved reward tracking for Solar Pass and live events. Maintenance began at 9:30 a.m. CET and is expected to continue until 6:00 p.m. CET, during which server stability improvements are also being implemented.

The hotfix also resolves a range of issues affecting the game’s Poker mode, addressing crashes, synchronization bugs, and display inconsistencies. PC players receive additional attention, with new FidelityFX FSR3 and DLSS functionality, updated VRAM calculations, and improved AMD GPU stability. KT Racing has noted that remaining bugs, including rare illumination issues and PS5 crashes, will be tackled in future updates, with Update 1 and Update 2 planned for broader optimization efforts.

  • Fixed crashes upon entering or leaving poker rooms under specific conditions.
  • Fixed dealer button not rotating correctly between players.
  • Fixed reveal camera not switching when players fold.
  • Fixed timer synchronization between client and server.
  • Fixed incorrect token counts when leaving poker tables and rebuying.
  • Fixed poker chip balance display after exiting tables.
  • Enhanced player experience during poker sessions.
  • Addressed multiple crashes during poker gameplay.

PC

  • Added VRAM usage table for FidelityFX (FSR3).
  • Added interpolated VRAM calculation for custom FSR3 modes.
  • Added support for FSR3 in settings.
  • Fixed DLSS option not activating properly.
  • Moved dynamic probe setting from “High” to “Ultra” under the SSR option.
  • Fixed crash affecting AMD 9000 series graphics cards.

Network

  • Improved online stability and overall network performance.

Other Details

  • Upcoming November Solar Club Letter will share Update 1’s release date and additional fixes.
  • Known issues include:
    • Occasional illumination issues causing green or red tint (temporary fix via Photomode toggle).
    • Poker table freeze when a player leaves during the card dealing phase.
    • XeSS upscaling option causing crashes on PC.
    • Upscaling values resetting to 50 at game launch.
